Our main motivation and goal when we decided to pursue this project was to learn, we were willing to challenge ourselves, specilly since we have always thought that face recognition was something that needed years and years of study, in the process we found so many tools and possibilities that we had the chance to explore some of them and figure that we could actually reach our goal in time. This experience has been really important to the both of us, not just because of the technical knowledge we have gathered, but because of the opportunity to work as a team, and the chance to work in a real project that involved time management and structure to fulfill the deadlines.
